BETRUTTI`S HOPES HINGE ON WEATHER Connections of Senor El Betrutti are keeping a close watch on the weather in the build-up to the Martell Grand National on Saturday. Sue Nock`s grey, a first-fence faller in last year`s Aintree spectacular, has not run since May due to the wettest winter on record. 'He`s still in one piece and looks well,' Mrs Nock said today. 'He just hasn`t had his ground. The faster the better for him. 'There hasn`t been one single opportunity for him. He hadn`t had a run by January so we thought about point-to-points or a hunter chase but there hasn`t been one for him.' The going on the Grand National course is currently described as good to soft, good in places. 'It is all up in the air at the moment whether or not he runs in the National,' Mrs Nock added. 'I haven`t even thought about a jockey for him. 'It all depends what the ground does, but the forecast for the end of the week is not good.' Mister One is another Grand National entry who is not certain to be in the line-up on Saturday. The Colin Tizzard-trained 10-year-old needs four horses to drop out of the big race, which carries a safety limit of 40, in order to get a run. 'I haven`t got a jockey for him because I want to know what`s going to come out and then I`ll see who becomes available,' said Tizzard. Senor El Betrutti is currently a best-priced 200-1 with Ladbrokes while Mister One is 66-1 with Victor Chandler.
